Hi,

I sucessfully installed Windows 7 and everything is working fine. I just created a new user account (standard user). Now, everything seems to be fine however, I am unable to close any window on it. Lets say if I open explorer or Yahoo! Messenger, if would not allow me to close , minimize or maximize it. Please help.

I had installed Windows 7 patch to remove the BETA logo and Send Feedback link.. and I am thinking probably it may have created the problem... please help...

Everything is working fine, but not everything is working fine?
Funny.

That 'patch' you installed was not from Microsoft, was it?

Reinstall the OS, and don't install the 'patch'. If you still can not close the windows, let us know.

Moosetek13, I had also installed couple of other software's... do you think that might have caused this??
I guess this is funny...

OSRI (Operating System Reinstall) is not work around of ever issue....

You may be able to remove the patch:
Go to \Windows\System32\en-US, If you can see a program there, named user32.dll, or user 32.dkk.backup,rename it to user32.dll.mui.
