Hello emaan, It sounds like you may have encountered an issue with your wireless network settings after deleting the Ad Hoc network. Here are a few steps you can try to troubleshoot and resolve the problem: 1. Restart Your Laptop: - Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve network connectivity issues. Turn off your laptop, wait a few seconds, and then turn it back on. 2. Check Network Settings: - Verify that your wireless card is enabled and that it is set to connect to available networks. You can do this by checking the network settings in the Control Panel. 3. Forget Network and Reconnect: - Forget the network profiles of both your network and your neighbor's network in the network settings. Then, search for available networks and try connecting again. 4. Reset TCP/IP Stack: - Open a Command Prompt with administrative privileges and run the following commands:
Code:
netsh winsock reset netsh int ip reset ipconfig /release ipconfig /renew
5. Update Wireless Card Drivers: - Outdated or corrupt wireless card drivers can cause connectivity issues. Update your wireless card drivers to the latest version either through the Device Manager or by visiting HP's official website. 6. Run Network Troubleshooter: - Windows has a built-in network troubleshooter that can help diagnose and fix common connection problems. You can find this in the Control Panel under Network and Sharing Center. 7. System Restore: - If the issue persists, you can try using System Restore to revert your system back to a point before you deleted the Ad Hoc network. Try these steps and see if they help resolve the issue. If you continue to experience problems, please provide more details so I can assist you further.
