Windows 7 Unable to Cut & Paste in Readerware database programmes!

Good morning!

For several years I have been using Readerware software to catalogue my books, videos and music CDs without the slightest hitch or problem. Today, out of the blue, I find myself unable add information in the appropriate fields of the programmes by a simple cut & paste. I have done this hundreds of times.

Am I cursed? Thank you for your help. :)

All the best,

Boyard

P,S The Readerware help is equally baffled.

CTRL+X for Cut
CTRL+V for Paste
CTRL+C for Copy

Don't work either.

I am running Windows 7 Pro x 64
With Service Pack 1

While I have not at all had any experience with Readerware Software nor the database it maintains (whether it is ODBC compliant or just a flat file database), I know that in many instances database software provide utilities that allow you to administer the database, performing things like compacting the database, truncating the log files, backing up the database and other such functions.
It is possible that your database needs a little standard maintenance.
How is their support forum (if they have one) or are you able to contact them by some means in order to start a "Trouble Ticket" and hopefully get your answer straight from the horse's mouth (so to speak)?

You wouldn't have a license issue? Just asking... tenderly...
