Hello, after spending this evening trying to fix the problem i might aswell post my solution here since time = money :)
I am running Windows 7 x64 btw.

Issue: :(
Wireles connection to the router somehow got disabled and the network and sharing center show the connection as an unidentified network.

Solution: :)
Open the network and sharing center.
Click on the blue marked wireless network connection link. "Connections: Wireless Network Connection (SSID)"
Click on properties in the lower left corner.
Select IPv4 and click on properties.
Hit the radiobutton "Obtain an IP address automaticly"
Save.

This made my wireless connection work again.
You can also check this setting by hitting windows button+R and run cmd then enter ipconfig /all. then find your Wireless LAN connection and make sure DHCP is enabled.

I hope someone find this info useful.

Thank you for sharing your solution! It's great to hear that you were able to resolve the issue with your wireless connection on Windows 7 x64. Your detailed steps will indeed be useful for others facing a similar problem. In case anyone encounters a similar issue, your method of enabling DHCP for obtaining an IP address automatically can be quite helpful.
