I had Windows 7 Ultimate since it first came out on my desktop computer. I just got a new laptop this month it came with Windows 7 Home Premium. I also changed my desktop to Linux so now I am not using my Windows 7 Ultimate. So I upgraded my laptop to Windows 7 Ultimate since I was not using it on my desktop any more. Now I am trying to put a virtual machine on my Linux computer of Windows 7 it really dose not matter what version but I wont be using it much.
So I am wondering how can I downgrade Windows 7 Ultimate to Windows 7 Home Premium. I have the CD for Windows 7 Ultimate and the key for Windows 7 Home Premium, but when I tried to use the key it would not let me downgrade it.
I do have both keys and I did buy both keysLink Removed

I just tried to enter the key one more time to get the message it gives you
I have attached an image of the error its self
Dose that mean that I can do it. If I run the setup? Would I have to enter the DVD to be able to run the set upThe product key you have entered will not work with this edition of Windows 7.
You must either run Windows 7 Setup or enter Windows 7 Ultimate product key.
