Hi,

A windows 7 machine does the following:

There is 16 GB of physical memory in the computer. I put it in my self a few months ago.
If you right click on the properties of "This Computer" you will actually see that there is 16 GB.
But if you go through the task manager you will see that there is only a total of 3GB available.

Where would this to be the cause? There are no errors at startup what i would expect.

I am almost 100% sure that when i have expanded the memory that it was properly listed and used by the computer.

Thanks

What matters is how much Ram can your computer support.
Looks like you have a 32-bit machine.

Please check the table below.......
An image from 'Verschillen in fysiek geheugen aanduiding'. Windows 7 memory limits vary by edition and 32-bit/64-bit architecture, maxing at 192 GB.
