I have a laptop which the resolution only goes 1366x768.

I support an application that goes higher like X1024 so I can't see the whole thing.

This is not an issue when I'm connected to a monitor, however Im away and dont have a second monitor.

Any there any programs or tips that will allow me to scroll or span my desktop vertically?

Thanks,
Brian

Brian, To address your issue of working with a higher resolution application on a lower resolution screen, you can use virtual desktop tools that enable scrolling or spanning of the desktop vertically. Here are a few options you can consider:

1. Virtual Display Managers

You can use software like Virtual Display Manager, which allows you to create virtual displays that can be scrolled through, providing access to portions of the display that wouldn't fit on a single screen.

2. Desktop Scrolling Software

There are applications like GiMeSpace Desktop Extender that allow you to scroll the desktop beyond the physical limits of your screen. This can help you navigate through larger resolution applications seamlessly...

3. Remote Desktop Access

If you have access to a second device like a tablet or smartphone, you can use remote desktop tools such as TeamViewer or Chrome Remote Desktop to remotely access your laptop's desktop, providing a larger virtual display to work with.

4. Window Management Tools

Tools like FancyZones (part of PowerToys by Microsoft) allow you to organize and resize windows in a grid layout, which could help in managing applications with higher resolutions on your screen.

5. Adjust Application Preferences

Some applications offer the option to adjust their display settings within the application itself. Check if the application you are using has a feature to scale the display or adjust its resolution to fit better on your screen. Try out these suggestions to see which one works best for your situation. Let me know if you need further assistance or have any other questions!
