A while back, I updated my computer to the most recent windows version and for a while the pictures of the videos that I have on my computer used to show up, but now it just shows the picture of the program I use to play them.

Can you hit the Like button next to me?

I am glad you got the issue fixed!

That didn’t work.

Are you talking about the Like button?

No. The solution didn’t work.

Open file explorer (the yellow folder icon), click on View at the top then Options > 'Change folder and search options' and View again and uncheck the following, Apply, Ok

View attachment 39042

That didn’t work. Do you have any other ideas? Cause I would like to be able to see the pictures of the videos again.

Do you have the view set to medium, large or extra large icons? If not it won't show the thumbnails

An image from 'Video pictures not showing'. Two video files named 'Everybody Wants To Be A Cat' and 'Scales and Arpeggios' are displayed.

I did what you suggested, but I still see this. Same thing with the music I like.

Songs wouldn't have embedded art only images and videos.

The artwork for the videos still isn’t showing.

You can try resetting the thumbnail cache, they can become corrupt.

What do you use to open the video?
