A while back, I updated my computer to the most recent windows version and for a while the pictures of the videos that I have on my computer used to show up, but now it just shows the picture of the program I use to play them.

What do you use to open the video?

What do you use to open the video?

Normally Realtimes. Realplayer. They showed up for a while after I updated it, but then the pictures slowly went to the picture of the programs I use.

The new windows update may not support that program anymore.

Can you try a different video player?

It doesn’t matter what program I use, it still does the same thing.

Are you on Mobile?

What happens when you run the video?

Are you talking about when viewing a picture or video or are you referring to the icon shown in the windows file explorer? Screenshots also help.

Such as you want it to show like this
An image from 'Video pictures not showing'. Two screenshots of a Windows Videos folder showing a Captures folder and a video file with different icon views.

That’s the problem I’m having. So what do I do? I want those pictures back. And with my music as well.

Open file explorer (the yellow folder icon), click on View at the top then Options > 'Change folder and search options' and View again and uncheck the following, Apply, Ok

Thank you so much. I’ve had this problem before, and never knew what to do.

I was writing that LOL!

Don't forget to give us likes. :)
