I have bought a game called roller coaster tycoon 2. It installs but will not launch. I installed in on to virtual XP and it says I have an active debugger in memory. unload and restart. I have tried the demo of the product and it worked fine on my computer. I have tried the different things that microsoft said to do but none of these things worked or applied to me. I read that because its a virtual system that the game will not run because it thinks the program is being hacked. i tried running the compatibilty mode in all setteing on my windows 7 but doesn't work. Can any one help me with the Virtual xp mode and active debugger in memory or windows 7 compatibilty mode?

PS, i have been to Atari's support pages and my download site and they can't help or know whats going on

Windows 7 professional, 64 bit
8 gigs of memeory
t9550 intel processors
Radeon 4570 graphics card

Solution
It seems like you are facing compatibility issues with Roller Coaster Tycoon 2 on your Windows 7 Professional 64-bit system, even after trying different solutions. Here are a few steps you can try to address the issue:

Virtual XP Mode and Active Debugger in Memory:

  1. Debugger Issue: The message about an active debugger in memory might be a false positive due to the virtual environment.
    • Try disabling any debugging tools or software running in the background before launching the game in Virtual XP mode.
    []Virtual XP Mode:
    • Ensure the Virtual XP Mode on your Windows 7 Professional is configured correctly.
    • Check if the game's installation files are intact and not corrupted.

      Additional Tips:

      • Try running the game with all non-essential background applications closed to rule out any software conflicts.
      • Confirm that your system meets the minimum requirements for Roller Coaster Tycoon 2.
