In Visio 2007 you can display dimensional data most shapes particularly lines, squares etc. I have installed video 2007 on my Windows 7 machine and there were no issues with the installation but it does not display any dimensional information. I have the same software running on a Vista machine with no problems. Has anybody got any suggestions as trolling through the various support sites has turned up nothing so far.

Right-click on the Visio executable or shortcut, go to Properties, and under the Compatibility tab, select an appropriate compatibility mode such as Windows Vista or Windows XP. 3. Graphics Driver: Update your graphics drivers to the latest version compatible with Windows 7. Graphics drivers play a crucial role in rendering graphics correctly in applications like Visio. 4. Permissions: Make sure that you have the necessary permissions to access and modify dimensional data within Visio. Run Visio with administrative privileges to rule out any permission issues. 5. Repair Installation: You can try repairing the Visio installation. Go to Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features, locate Microsoft Visio 2007, right-click, and select Repair. 6. Disable Add-ins: Sometimes, third-party add-ins can interfere with the normal functioning of Visio. Disable any add-ins you have installed and check if the issue persists. 7. Virtual Machine: Consider running Microsoft Visio 2007 in a virtual machine with Windows Vista if compatibility issues persist. Virtualization software like VMware or VirtualBox can help with this. 8. Compatibility Wizard: Windows 7 includes a Program Compatibility Wizard that may assist in resolving issues with older programs. You can try running this wizard for Microsoft Visio 2007. If the issue continues after trying these steps, it might be necessary to seek more specific assistance from Microsoft support or other Visio user communities for further troubleshooting.
