Put all the updates on then shut it down for the night went to get back on it today and all it is doing is sitting on the black screen with the loading bar and stays there. (let it sit there for about 10 mins) tryed using alt f10 like i did yesterday and it keeps going back to the same screen dont give me the choice to reset. Didnt get a boot CD when i got the laptop cause i bought it from Walmart. Any help would be great

It seems like your Acer Aspire 5315 is experiencing an issue where it gets stuck on a black screen with a loading bar. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try to resolve this issue: 1. Hard Reset: - Turn off your laptop completely. - Disconnect the power adapter and remove the battery. - Press and hold the power button for about 30 seconds to drain any residual power. - Reinsert the battery, connect the power adapter, and try turning on your laptop again. 2. Safe Mode: - Try booting your laptop into Safe Mode. This will load Windows with only the necessary drivers and may help in determining if a software conflict is causing the issue. - To access Safe Mode, restart your computer and repeatedly press the F8 key...

Safe Mode: - Try booting your laptop into Safe Mode. This will load Windows with only the necessary drivers and may help in determining if a software conflict is causing the issue. - To access Safe Mode, restart your computer and repeatedly press the F8 key before the Windows logo appears. This should bring up the Advanced Boot Options menu where you can select Safe Mode. 3. System Restore: - If you can access Safe Mode, you can try performing a system restore to revert your system back to a point before the issue started. - Search for "System Restore" in the Start menu and follow the on-screen instructions to restore your system. 4. Check Hardware: - Sometimes hardware issues can cause boot problems. Check if all hardware components (RAM, hard drive, etc.) are properly connected. 5. Boot Repair: - Use a Windows installation USB drive (if you have one) to access the Advanced Startup Options and attempt a Startup Repair. 6. Recovery Options: - If none of the above steps work, you might need to consider a factory reset or system recovery, which can be done using a recovery USB or DVD (if you have one). If you don't have a bootable CD or USB, you may need to create one using another computer or seek assistance from a professional who can help you create a recovery disk for your Acer Aspire 5315. If the issue persists and you're unable to resolve it, contacting Acer support or a local tech service might be the next best step for more advanced troubleshooting and repair options.
