Hi. A couple of weeks ago I allowed Windows Update to load SP1 for W7 unintentionally of course as i know I should have backed up first. Cut to the chase it screwed my system and my laptop would not reboot indicating SP1 was still installing. I had W7 ultimate Installation/upgrade disk and reinstalled W7 successfully
I lost some of my important Aps & files. I C discussion threads relating to recovering data/information via Windows Old from older versions of windows! QUESTION 1; can any one confirm if it is the same process to recover files from WinOLd W7 to W7. QUESTION2; I note I have 3 Windows Old files on my Laptop relating to previous install is it safe to delete the 2 older ones and only retain the one from March 6 11?
