Windows 7 Wallpaper Disappears to Black Screen After 'Show Desktop' - Need Help!

I had my wallpaper all set up and as soon as i hit "show desktop" it went black and i can't get it to display anything even if i go through personalize and all that jazz. any ideas?

Solution:

Remove Background Images (where available)

Control Panel
--> Ease of access --> Ease of access center --> Make the computer easy to see --> at the end of the page "Make things on the screen easier to see" and unmark the "Remove background images (where available)".
