I have an ACER Aspire ONE NetBook, that had a hard disk go south. I have a new hard disk to install and will have to use a fresh copy of WIN7. The system was originally starter edition. Should I try and stay with that, or install something with more functionality? I really do not wish to sacrifice any large performance loss for a small or no real gain in functionality.
Has any one had any experience in this area or maybe just some insight?
Thanks all

Hello wwadeson, Link Removed to Windows 7 Forums
Have a look here; Compare Windows 7 - Microsoft Windows
For your basic functionality, most users go with the Home Edition as they find the extra functions that the Pro & Ultimate Editions have are not going to be used, plus it saves a couple hundred bucks.
Hope this helps
