I have posted on several forums, followed 100s of 'tips', but nothing works!
Briefly: Technisat media player can share files on Vista, Android Samba, linux-based NAS without user verification but fails to access Win7 shares with a user/password login failure (although the share is available to Everyone, and other devices can share the Win 7).
I have been told that this is because MS-RAP is deprecated and the only workaround is Xp-Mode (run a virtual OS on a virtual disc to share files - unbelievable!).
Does anyone have a solution to this problem? Is there an update file to reinstate Vista-like sharing?
Sadly, there's no possibility to update the network stack on the device.
I'd appreciate any help - bear in mind I have changed all the usual registry tips for compatibility with other systems (all of which still work, yet Win7 doggedly refuses access to this one device).
I think this forum is my last hope.
