Hello
On both my desktop and laptop which have Win 8.1 and are quite similar, I cannot move the items within Favorites. I can click on one and it opens but if I try to hold it down and move it up or down, I no longer can since Win 8.1 was installed.
I tried reinstalling the favorites with import /export to no avail.
Thank you for any ideas.
Peter

Thanks for the reply I think I will stick with the organize favourites option. But that's more clumberson when you have about 2000 favourites organized in folders within folders within folders you get the idea. :)

Anyone know why they might or removed the simple method of just holding down the left mouse button or anyway to get it back.

Cheers

That option has not been removed...... not on my Win 8.1 Pro.
Sounds like the issue is confined to your computer.

Yahoo toolbar is NOT compatible with Win 8.1, IE11.
Nothing you can do.
Post your feedback to Yahoo. Maybe they will eventually fix it.

Thanks for the reply that sounds encouraging now I have to work out why I cant on my computer but its not just me. Peterr the topic starter has the same problem on his 2 computers.

But just to confirm with the menu bar enabled you can drill down to various folders which cascade and can move items up or down buy simply holding down the left mouse button.

I got the solution on another forum if anyone is having the same issue, go to IE Options, advanced, turn of enhanced protection mode.
