Hey, very quick question:

Say I've got 3 windows of notepad open, and they're 4th on my taskbar. I want to open the third notepad window quickly with just the keyboard.

Holding windows key and pressing 4 expands the pile of notepad windows over the taskbar. I then feel I should be able to continue holding the windows key and press 3, but instead this just does the default Win+3 action.
Letting go of the windows key opens the default window from the notepad pile.
How can I quickly open the third window (without having to go through one by one with arrow keys or alt+tab or something)?

Cheers, Luke

Hey Luke, To quickly open the third window of Notepad when it's grouped on the taskbar, you can use a keyboard shortcut involving the Windows key and numbers. Here's a step-by-step guide to achieve this: 1. Holding Windows Key + Number: - Windows Key + 4: This expands the group of Notepad windows on the taskbar. - Still Holding Windows Key: While the group is expanded, press and release the Alt key. 2. Pressing the Corresponding Number: - After releasing the Alt key, press the number corresponding to the specific Notepad window you want to open. For your case, it's the third window, so press 3. By following these steps, you should be able to directly access the third Notepad window without...

Give this method a try, and let me know if you encounter any issues or if you need further assistance! Cheers!
