Hi, i'm having this weird problem in my notebook.
I've tried to install win vista in a separated partition from my win xp pro, and every time i've tried it, my system hangs on the "Press a Key to start from DVD" message.
The installation programs doesn´t load!
I've tried it from different vista iso's, and always the same problem. In the other hand, the win xp bootable cd works perfectly, ubuntu, kubuntu, fedora... bootable dvd's work perfectly ( all of them), so i guess i can discard any problem from my optical drive...
Why the hell doen´t even the installer load??
PS: my notebook is a Core Duo, 2GB Ram, Ati X1600 Mobile, 80GB IDE HDD.. (it's an Asus Z96jp)
Thanks for replying
