After I installed Windows 7 everything seemed okay or okay at least I would would expect with a solid Beta. I decided to test the Backup App. The first time I used it, it worked as expected. However the second time I tried to use it none of the buttons or links on the right hand side of the control panel section for backup would respond. I then tried the links on the left hand side of backup section and was able to do a image backup. Has anyone had a similiar experiance or any thoughts on what might be causing the problem? I also tried to reinstall hoping if it was a broken file it would be repaired, no luck on that end.

Thank you, LTK

It appears that you are experiencing an issue with the Backup and Restore feature in Windows 7 where the buttons on the right-hand side of the control panel for backup are unresponsive. To address this problem, you can try the following steps: 1. Check for Windows Updates: Ensure that your Windows 7 installation is up to date by checking for and applying any available updates. Sometimes, updates can resolve such issues by providing necessary patches. 2. Run System File Checker (SFC) Scan: This tool checks for corrupt system files and attempts to repair them. Here's how to run an SFC scan: - Click Start, type "cmd" in the search box. - Right-click Command Prompt and select "Run as administrator." - In the Command Prompt...

Windows Backup Troubleshooter: Microsoft offers a Windows Backup troubleshooter that can automatically fix common issues with the backup feature. You can access it here. 4. Perform a Clean Boot: Sometimes, third-party applications can conflict with core Windows features. Performing a clean boot helps diagnose if this is the case. Here's how: - Press Windows + R, type "msconfig," and press Enter. - In the System Configuration window, go to the Services tab. - Check Hide all Microsoft services and click Disable all. - Navigate to the Startup tab and click Open Task Manager. - Disable all startup items. - Restart your PC. By following these steps, you may be able to troubleshoot and resolve the issue with the Backup and Restore feature in Windows 7. If the problem persists, please provide additional details for further assistance.
