I have installed windows 7 on my pc and the wireless network card and wired network portion of my motherboard do not work with any drivers currently available. When i was installing win7 off my XP partition i noticed it download updates off the web.
My question, is there any way to download these updates on my winxp partition and manually upgrade the windows 7 one? Much like many of us do with the likes of service packs and office update packs?
Note: I have an Airlive Wireless PCI (WN 5000PCI) and an ASUS P5E-V HDMI Motherboard, if anyone knows how to fix these on Windows 7 i would appreciate the email as well

To manually download Windows updates from a Windows XP partition and install them on your Windows 7 partition, you can follow these steps:
Steps to Download and Install Windows Updates Manually:
- Identify Required Updates:
- On your Windows XP partition, visit the Microsoft Update Catalog website (Microsoft Update Catalog) to search for the updates needed for your Windows 7 system. You can search for specific updates or drivers for your network card and motherboard.
- Find the necessary updates for the network card and motherboard for Windows 7 on the Microsoft Update Catalog.
- Download the updates to a location that is accessible from both Windows XP and Windows 7, such as an external drive or a shared folder.
- Copy the downloaded updates from the shared location or external drive to your Windows 7 partition.
- On your Windows 7 partition, navigate to the location where you saved the update files.
- Double-click on each update file to run the installation process.
