My speakers are disabled on my windows 7 laptop, it shows on the icon that they are on but when I try to play something they don't work. Before it would have a red X on them but that has gone away. I opened my computer and watched a youtube video and when I clicked to watch the next one they didn't work again. It only says they are disabled when I go to the sound menu (from the control panel), right click on them and click properties. From there I go to the enhancement tab and it says under status "disabled". Somehow windows 7 keeps disabling my speakers. Can someone tell me how to stop it from doing so? Thank you.
I have a HP Pavillion dv6000 if that is important to know.
