Hello,
I'm trying to install Windows 7 Ultimate but during installation my monitor enters power saving mode. Could be a problem with my video card?
I succeeded installing it once but after it starts after several minutes monitor enters power saving and also my keyboard stops working.
I tried installing it again but couldn't do it because during installation my monitor enters power saving.
Can someone tell me what could be the problems?
Thanks.

Welcome to windows7forums. :)

Are you using an external monitor during the installation?

Are you doing clean install or are you doing upgrade?

Are there any power-related settings on the front panel of your monitor that you can adjust?

In case you are upgrading, disable power management before starting the upgrade process:

I am using an external monitor.
I'm not doing an upgrade I'm doing clean install. i had windows XP installed on the computer before.
I had an LG LCD monitor and I also tried with a CRT monitor but the problem remains.
