Windows 7 windows 7 installation wont continue

hi , i have a gateway lt2030u and i have been trying to install windows 7 but when i need to choose a partition , it doesn't show any , it says it cant find driver that i need to load a driver and i insert my cd and it didn't see any , i search gateway's website and used sata driver but still didn't work

so can anyone tell me whats wrong :s

Need more info. Perhaps present OS and a few specs for the PC. Perhaps a MB model. This netbook appears to be marginally able to run Win 7, perhaps the Starter Edition. I suspect going with something other than the Starter Edition will not succeed.

Have you run the Link Removed? How about checking out the Link Removed?

The driver that it is looking for is most likely a MB driver or some such. I would check the Gateway site for chipset drivers, MB drivers, etc. Perhaps download the Win 7 driver to a flash drive and use this to install the driver from. But again, the specs for this PC are somewhat marginal for Win 7.
