Hello ,
I would like the log on process to mirror the classic old login process
so I have used GP editor to force Ctrl+Alt+Del and also to hide access points for user switching ..
so now when I login I do have to do the 3 finger salute, then I get a screen that has the 2 users accounts that i have setup on this machine....and there still is a "switchbutton there .....I do not want a switch button and I do not want pictures and names of the 2 existing users I have added to this laptop.......so how do I get to this goal of just putting in your username and password ......nothing else no other users pic with their user name under it and no switch button ?

Try using gpedit.msc and making the two adjustments as per the attachment and see if that helps. You'll either need to force a group policy update or reboot the machine.
