Well folks, it's not often you see me start a thread in the support forum. But in my lazy days, I just don't feel like looking around for a solution myself.
The problem is a long delay after login. I login, and then it takes 30+ seconds for my PC to be ready to use. The only start-up programs are Messenger Wave 4 (woohooo got accepted for beta tester
), Synaptics touch driver, Launch Manager. I keep my drive defragged and all that good stuff.
What else can I try?
It's been this way ever since I bought this PC in December.
Operating System Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
Computer Type Gateway NV5329H
Processor AMD Turion II X2 M500 (Dual Core)
Motherboard Gateway SJV50TR
Video Card ATI Radeon HD4570 (512 MB Dedicated, up to 1.7 GB Hyper)
Memory 4 GB DDR2
Hard Drive 320 GB
Network AdapterAtheros AR5B93 N-Draft 2.0
Anti-virus Software: Microsoft Security Essentials
