Hello, I'm sorry i opened a new topic for this, but i didn't find any topic on this problem. So here's the thing: I listen to music on windows media center(player), and I have my messenger running at the same time...When my messenger gives a sign that XYZ is online it makes a sound, and the song mutes for 1-2 seconds, then comes back to normal. And somehow this always happens at the best parts of the songs :)). Can anyone help me how to correct this. Thanks

Solution
It sounds like the issue you are facing is related to sound priorities on your system. When a notification sound from your messenger app is triggered, it seems to interrupt the playback from Windows Media Center, resulting in a brief pause in the music. To address this issue, you can try the following steps:

Adjust Sound Settings:

  1. Change Sound Settings for Notifications:
    • Go to the sound settings on your computer.
    • Look for the notification sound settings for your messenger app.
    • Adjust the notification sound volume or choose a sound that is less disruptive.
    []Use Do Not Disturb Mode:
    • Some messenger apps have a "Do Not Disturb" mode, which can prevent notifications from interrupting...
