I did it in the same way as the article recommended - Custom, after booting from the 64-bit disc. I let my first install (I did all three home computers over the weekend) create a Windows.old directory, the second and third I just formatted the intended install partition. All activated fine - used the $149 3-pack family upgrade tp Win7 Premium - a great deal if you have three PC's to upgrade...
