Windows 7 Windows internet driver

Hi i just built my first pc and am having a little trouble connecting to the internet. I already downloaded windows 7 and am connected via ethernet to the internet but my computer still tells me i have no connection and need to install a driver which i need internet for.

You need to find the driver for your motherboard if the ethernet is included on board, and look on the motherboard manufacturer's website for the LAN/Ethernet driver.

I would still encourage you to go to the website of the motherboard manufacturer to install the latest driver for your LAN/Ethernet, as drivers on disks are often months if not a year old. Newer drivers often fix bugs, and have better performance than older ones.
