So basically my wireless mouse stopped working all of a sudden. I thought it was a problem with my USB port, but a wired mouse worked. I tried putting my wireless mouse in another computer and it worked there. Is there any way to fix this situation. I have tried multiple wireless mouses and none of them work on my laptop.

Solution
If your wireless mouse is not working on your laptop but functions on another computer, and you've tried multiple wireless mice with the same result, it's likely that the issue is specific to your laptop. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot the problem and potentially resolve it: 1. Drivers: - Ensure that the drivers for the wireless mouse are up to date. You may need to download the latest drivers from the manufacturer's website. - Check in Device Manager to see if the wireless mouse is recognized under the "Mice and other pointing devices" section without any errors. 2. USB Port Check: - Test the wireless mouse with different USB ports on the laptop to rule out issues with a specific port. - Check if other USB...

USB Port Check: - Test the wireless mouse with different USB ports on the laptop to rule out issues with a specific port. - Check if other USB devices work on the USB port where you've connected the wireless mouse. 3. Power Management: - Adjust the power management settings for the USB ports to ensure they are not being turned off to save power. - Go to Device Manager, expand “Universal Serial Bus controllers”, right-click USB Root Hub, go to Properties, and uncheck the box that allows the computer to turn off the device. 4. BIOS Settings: - Check the BIOS settings for any USB-related configurations that could be causing the issue. 5. Interference: - Wireless interference can affect the performance of a wireless mouse. Try using the mouse in a different environment to rule out interference. 6. System Restore: - Consider performing a System Restore to a point when the wireless mouse was working correctly if the issue started recently. If none of these steps resolve the problem, there may be an underlying hardware issue with the laptop's USB connectivity. In that case, seeking assistance from the laptop manufacturer's support team or a computer technician might be necessary.
