as per the title thread, looking for drives or a howto to get the WLAN adapter working, W7 says Detecting Problems and says i have no wireless adapter installed.

can see the network device in device manager but all the dell drivers are XP only. help appreciated
Build 7000

Solution
What you need to do is connect your laptop with an ethernet cable to your network. Once you have an internet connection, run windows updates and it should quickly find and download the driver for you. That worked for me when I loaded windows 7 beta (build 7000) on my D800 this morning.
Hope that helps.

alternate method ?

Is there an alternate method to download the drivers on another system and use a flash drive to copy the files to the laptop if wired connection is not available ?
