The actual message it says is:

"The NVIDIA Setup program could not locate any drivers that are compatible with your current hardware. Setup will now exit."

I've tried the drivers that were on my cd, I've tried the latest drivers from nVidia. Irritated. Need help. Thanks in advance.

Whatever magical problem I was having was fixed by installing the latest BIOS drivers for my motherboard, upon restart and reconfiguration, I logged on and it picked up the card and once again after another restart I was able to install the drivers for the card. Cheers.

Thanks for updating.. I see this a lot actually, where a simple bios update can be the cure for many ills. Care should always be taken when flashing the bios though as it is in some cases a potential board killer.
