Your only chance of getting the data off is to find a drive of the same make & model swap over the controller board and hope for the best.

If possible, and the data is valuable, I would not to try to experiment anything, but to take it to some service. Don't know what the cost will be, but it should be safe and, besides, cables don't come free either. Smaller businesses often charge reasonably, and to have a customer relation is never bad.

Most places charge a large fee to recover data, it would have to be very valuable data. Most of these companies only deal with commercial companies that have had a catastrophic failure.

Depending on the extent of the physical damage to the pin it is more about being able to make the physical connection. There is no suggestion that there is damage to the data storage so is unlikely to involve expensive data recovery. I personally would attempt to make the connection between the sata connections on the drive to a usb interface. I've used paper clips to bridge damaged data connections before today!

What I referred to was not specialist companies doing data recovery but plain IT-retailers with service. If it is a plain physical damage of the contact, any engineer with self respect should be able to fix it, and it shouldn't cost too much. But this is merely my opinion, can't excel with expertise.
