📎 AI Summary:
The original poster (Post #1) is seeking a reliable Ethernet NIC compatible with Windows 10 x64, as their built-in NVIDIA network card causes BSODs, and their attempt to use an Intel Pro/1000 GT PCI card also results in crashes. They ask for recommendations on drivers and gigabit-capable cards that work well with Windows 10. A respondent (Post #2) suggests that Intel and RealTek network cards generally function properly and offers to help diagnose BSOD issues, while another (Post #3) briefly suggests searching for network cards on Giga.com. Overall, the thread reflects frustration with incompatible hardware and a desire for stable network solutions.

I have a home built PC that has an integrated NVIDIA network card (geforce 5 series I believe) that has been throwing all kinds of BSOD's since January (right after one of the Windows updates). Anyhow, I grew frustrated trying to find a driver for this NIC that would work, and I'm just looking for a NIC that will work well under Win 10x64.

1) Are there any out there that have drivers specifically for Win 10 x64?

2) Are there any that have gigabit speed? While this is not a necessity, it would be nice... not having the lock-up's and BSOD's is more important though.

I did purchase the Intel Pro/1000 GT PCI card, but within 5 minutes of the reboot after all drivers were installed, it through a blue screen. Did it again a few minutes ago, so I uninstalled it and went back with the NVIDIA device.

Any help would greatly be appreciated.
