Windows 7 Adjusting Screen Brightness?

hi all,

ok, im using an EMACHINES E525, & im dual-booting with Win7 & ubuntu-linux, & my question is this:

my laptop has a blue 'fn' key which can be used with another key to brighten/dim the display, however, i cannot get it to work, ive looked all over the net & i just cant seem to find anything........& my battery is getting a real hammering when running on battery power! any suggestions/help will be appreciated.........thanks!

From there you'll either see the drivers or need to search for them like I've done in the screenshot:

emachines/acer are a joke, no 'windows 7 home premium x32' driver on their site seems to want to install!
