So i got my TV connect through my hdmi cable straight from my laptop to the TV. Normally this works great and never had a problem with it however lately when i go the manage audio settings it wont let me change to the TV to default.
I go to test and from my laptop says its working working through the Test but there is no sound coming out my TV.
Can anyone help and give suggestions because I'm confused, used to always work and now suddenly has stopped.

When you say "i go the manage audio settings" do you means from the computer or from the TV sound settings in the TV menu?

... does this mean the sound test is initiated but does not complete? or it does complete and indicates it is completed? It could be looking for an output device.
