My problem ?
Hp HDX 16 1050 clean install Win 7.Fingerprint reader is not working,quick launch buttons some is working some aren't.The Hp drivers are not working.Hp support doesn't know how to fix for now the problem.They say
wait for new drivers!!

Which fingerprint reader do you have? Looks like there is software, not new however, for a Validity Fingerprint Sensor and a Digital Persona software utility.

How does the reader connect to the computer? Is it an internal type of USB or something else?

Are you using the 32 or 64 bit Win 7?
