In creating a Word doc, the cursor is suddenly a blue spinning circle - the one we usually see when something is still downloading. The curser still works fine - but that spinning thing has got to go!! Not sure how it appeared suddenly. I had just dowloaded a bunch of critical updates including one Office update. Maybe I just pressed something wrong someplace?

I went to the control area where you set the pointer. It is showing the normal arrow. But I reset it to that again anyway. No change. Still have this spinning circle. Does anone know how to get rid of it?

I wish someone out there knew what to do. This spinning circle is awful. I use Word a lot and it is becoming very unpleasant.
Aside from the spinning factor, its takes longer to position the cursor correctly as its a circle and not a pointer.
