It is quite simple, really.

I've heard it works and am going to try it as soon as I backup my files.

Anyone try this yet?

Also, will this upgrade still work if my OS and my personal files are on the same partition?
(My Windows 7 is installed on C:\ and so are all music and movies and whatnot, bad decision on my end)

Yea it does.....BUT I would still follow age old philosophy!!...nothing is better than a clean install
Thanks for the confirmation.
Useful info to have though I agree I'll probably never use it being a clean install disciple myself.
However I do feel enriched that i now possess this information tidbit, odd how my mind works.
