I have had this problem for about a month...when my desktop image closes...my desktop goes to black, until i bring up task scheduler, my program comes back, and I then have to close task scheduler in order to get back.
also goes to black after 10 min or so...and then i have to go back thru the task scheduler bit...or, if that does not work power off, and back on. sorry if this is not "tech" accurate, but I am barely computer savvy. this has never happened before. running Win 10. can any one advise??

Easiest thing someone who is not computer savvy would be to do a factory reset. Where are you located? I have a computer repair shop in Toronto Link Removed.

Just a thought, has it anything to do with a time out of your screen, so does it happen after some time of no activity / not typing?

Has it started out-of-the-blue? Or did it show up after some installation or upgrade?

And could you tell us what computer brand/model you are using?

And welcome to this forum!
