Windows Vista Taskbar Reads No Internet Connection !!

Here's a good one. "The Two Computer Icon" on my Taskbar in between the" Sound" and "Battery Icon" has a "Big Red X" where there usually is a "Blue Orb". Windows can't find anything wrong with my" Internet Connection". Why is it doing that ? Is there some Driver I can replace ?

Try rebooting.... or have you tried that?

Try resting the modem router, NAT exhaustion can be a common reason why home modem routers lockup.

I have a "DSL D Link Modem" . It has been doing a lot of work lately- But this comes after an 6 hour rest. I didn't reboot, the connection was strong. Thought it might be coming from a network driver, the orb is back today. I've never seen anything like that happen before. (If I don't boot with my Modem turned on while my computer warms I'll have touble making Internet Connnection) My Modem was on during boot yesterday.

Everything has been fine for several days. Now there is no Internet Connection Icon at all!
As you can see my "Connection To The Internet" is fine.
