It is a week or more since an official Windows update was issued as a "recommended" one for SKYPE. SEE DETAILS BELOW.
Update for Skype for Windows desktop 7.0 (KB2876229)

Installation status: Failed
This update tries to install every time I boot my PC doing so even if I un-tick it. It also fails to install every time. How can I remove this irritating update from my system/PC - I don't use SKYPE anyway!
