I want to try out the office 2010 beta and am going to uninstall 2007 and put 2010 on fresh. But if i decide to put 2007 back on will i have to download and install all the updates again or do they stay on the system?
Thanks.

Hi 'F1FAN' & welcome to Windows 7 Forums :) I am an F1 fan, also. And it is back in Canada!! Yea!! :D

I do believe the updates would be retained. Are you aware that as an alternative 2010 & 2007 can live side by side?

Cheers,
Drew

Yeah you can keep both but wouldn't that conflict the two? i been reading that it can make it confused as to which version is default.
