📎 AI Summary:
The thread discusses issues with intermittent Wi-Fi connectivity on a notebook running Windows Beta 1, where disabling and re-enabling WLAN temporarily restores internet access. The original poster suspects driver problems, mentioning they used Vista drivers with their Intel WiFi Link 5100 AGN card, which worked fine on Vista but not consistently on Beta 1. A responder suggests the issue may stem from outdated drivers, recommending ensuring the use of the latest Vista drivers, though they themselves do not use wireless connections. Overall, the discussion highlights driver compatibility concerns affecting WLAN stability in the beta environment.

Hi

I have a notebook running Beta 1, and sometimes WLAN is working and sometimes not.
I dont know why, turning off wlan and on again mostly solves it. Wlan-connection is not lost, but I just have no internet access...

I used driver from Vista, and on Vista I itself I have no problems.

Its a Intel(R) WiFi Link 5100 AGN

Same behavior on previous Build...

Anyone got same problems? Or Same Card and no Problems?

Thanks

Sounds like a driver problem.. did you make sure the vista driver you used is the latest one? That may make a difference.. I can't offer much more help then that as I am not using any wireless connections on any of my 3 pc's...
