If the software was first removed using control panel you can safely just manually delete any remaining junk files or folders.

For future use, there's a very neat and efficient program, Download Revo Uninstaller Freeware - Free and Full Download - Uninstall software, remove programs, solve uninstall problems

It does a very good job in uninstalling. Clears off practically everything.
