Windows 10 How to stop download of non-existing update?

Hello,

my win10pro, ver. 22H2, repeatedly tries to install update KB5001716, (KB5001716: Update for Windows Update Service components - Microsoft Support) failing with 0x80070643 ... quite likely so, because this update does not even exist in the update catalog Microsoft Update Catalog .

How to stop this?

You can try to manually download and install from here KB5001716: Update for Windows Update Service components - Microsoft Support

Some info suggestions this was originally released last Oct. If you already have the update installed you can simply uninstall and reinstall this release to resolve the issue
