A little titbit for the "Microsoft/Windows" basher to jump in and bash some more.

I ran across an article yesterday somewhere on the internet, which indicated there would be some significant patches becoming available soon for Windows 8.1.1. Like I believe I read May 13th, 2014. Any news as to what they might be fixing? Thanks.

Well, the unconfirmed rumour is that they are reintroducing the Start menu, from the pictures very similar to Windows 7.. Not sure about other things but it is needing some patch adjustments for various small items.

May 13th is just the next normal scheduled "Update Tuesday", the second Tuesday in May.
I wouldn't expect much in the way of big changes, just the normal round of tightening the code with patches and bug fixes is all that's likely.
