📎 AI Summary:
The thread discusses issues with dual booting Windows 7 and Windows XP, where the system automatically boots into XP despite both OSs being installed. The original poster notes that the Windows XP boot entry appears in the boot.ini file, indicating XP takes precedence. Responders suggest that installing XP after Windows 7 likely disrupted the boot configuration and recommend using tools like EasyBCD or repairing boot files via the Windows 7 DVD to restore proper dual boot functionality.

Probably installing XP after Windows 7 messed up the boot files. you should install the oldest system first. I think you'll need something like GRUB loader. There are others but I'm not really into that.
