Problem with desktop Icons

I also got exactly same problem. Here the point to be noted is, this corrupted icons are only for the additionally installed software. Windows icons are intact as you can see in the attahment.

I have tried deleting the iconsdb cache, deleting the registry key from " HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\icons.

Attached are the screen shots of the corrupted icons.

Please any suggestion to solve this problem.

This link provides two methods to rebuild your icons, it's usually the last one that works (just to save you time)

Both the option mentioned in your linked has been tried but still same problem exists!!

Any thing else I can try..

Did you guys try some kind of tweak to remove the shortcut arrows? Come on ... fess up.

Thanks tblount for your valuable suggestion,

I downloaded small tweaking tool from the following link.
Link Removed , It worked now all the icons are visible properly... let me try rebooting 2-3 times... I hope this work fine for ever.
