I'd like to know if I can install a windows operating system just by clicking the setup. If yes, then what the difference with installing from a bootable flashdrive or bootable dvd?

I need some type of bootable media to get back to Windows 10 Boot drive, in case of crash? Is a bootable dvd possible, and how would that be accomplished.

I have Windows 7 Ultimate and it allows you to make a folder for a bootable virtual HD instead of partitioning. You are running on actual hardware not in a virtual machine and dual booting and Windows 7 is still intact. Can windows 10 do this? Joe
